Meeting In Malacca

It was the time when almost everybody was dating somebody.. except me. I begin to feel that there was something WRONG with me (other than the fact I was still fugitive from the Fashion Police). I decided to take initiative and signed up for an event organized by "the place which should not be named" ... SDU.

The event was held at Music Underground (back then it went by another name but I cannot remember that name). It is amazing how poor lighting, deafening music and smoke can affect a person's decision. Recalling I have no idea HOW I started talking with Boy 13 and WHY I drove him to gate crash another "social event" organized by "another place which should not be named" ... again I forgot the name.

After the event, we went for two other SDU events together. Then we decided to meet up on our own without SDU. We went to East Coast to cycle, shopping and he even help me wash my car! All was okay until he INSISTED that we MUST watch the movie "The Passion Of Christ" together. I sensed something wrong because I he told me that he had JUST watched the movie (afternoon show). After he watched the movie, he insisted to watch it with me at night on the SAME day!

When I met him, he began to frantically explain to me how emotional the movie was to him. He kept talking EVERY SINGLE SECOND about how wonderful the movie was. I thought he would stop when the movie started. Nope, he did NOT. He went on talking and talking every single scene during the movie, explaining in detail the significance of each scene, dialogue and even made references to The Bible. After the movie, he continued talking NON-STOP!

I totally FREAKED OUT. After that day, I TOTALLY STOPPED meeting him. He kept sending me sms about the movie (up to two months after we have watched the movie). I was freaked out by him for a few months. Recalling, I think I over-reacted...

Working Overseas

Due to an urgent project, I need to work overseas (Johor) the past week... Above this the address. Ironically the distance travelled from my home to this overseas office is SHORTER than the travel to the SIN office! Can you believe it?! Hahaa..

Place: Uni friend's BBQ
Category: Like?/ More like confused

My uni friend organized a "farewell" BBQ as he was about to be posted overseas to work for a few years. I arrived early only to find Boy 12 at the BBQ pit. We started to talk & start the fire & made some food & ate & made some more food... We sort of "forgot" why were there! We just kept talking to each other, we even forgot about the "star" of the BBQ (our friend about to work overseas)! Somewhere in our conversation, I gave him my name card.

I can't remember was it the next day, next few days or next week that he called me out for coffee. He liked to go to the gym. Suddenly he applied a "guest" pass for me so that I could go to the gym with him. So we went to gym together for about 2 weeks. Suddenly one day he called & offered to drive me out for dinner. He didn't want me to drive my car. He actually requested me to drive his car! (Weird hor?) So he drove to my house to "pick me up" but I drove to the dinner venue, then he drove me back to my house. He also brought me to Devil's Bar to "chill out".

Then I sms-ed him that I enjoyed his company: immediately he turned defensive and stopped asking me out. He "vanished" for a few weeks then suddenly when I called him, he said he'll sms me back. I was TOTALLY dumbfounded when I read his sms: "My gf and I ..." I did not even bother to read the rest of the sms. His gf?! How come he never say he got gf?! How come he never go gym with his gf or let his gf drive his car or go clubbing with his gf?! HAR?!? I was CONFUSED, har.. what? Aiyoh, till now this Boy 12 is a mystery to me...
